The Position

The Policy and Market Access Manager is responsible for developing and implementing market access strategies for our products within specific therapeutic areas. This ensures optimal pricing, timing, and scope for reimbursement. The role involves managing relationships with key decision-makers and influencers in the reimbursement system, developing and coordinating reimbursement strategies and processes, and negotiating reimbursement with the payer, NHIA. Additionally, the role includes designing and leading initiatives for value communication and securing permanent reimbursement for our products in the treatment pathway.

Task & Responsibilities:

• Mapping and engaging with key stakeholders for reimbursement
• Lead, develop, and implement market access strategies for company products within the respective therapeutic areas
• Strategic planning to generate payer evidence that further strengthens the value proposition of Boehringer-Ingelheim new assets
• Lead the team to ensure the development of the high quality Pharmaco-economics and the P&R dossier for submission to get reimbursement approval
• Ensure reimbursement at the optimal price , timing , and scope for overall launch success
• Lead, maintain,and develop the relationship with all relevant internal( local/regional/global) and external stakeholders
• Understand the external environment and government priorities in the market access and its potential risks/opportunities for the reimbursement
• Assess the impact of the policy changes on market acess strategies,formulate recommendations, and support in integrating these changes into the assets planning

Requirements:

• University Bachelor/Master's degree in life science,Health Economics, Public Health, or other relevant areas
• At least five years’ experience in the pharmaceutical/biotech industry and at least two years in Market Access/pricing and contracting with a comprehensive understanding of reimbursement environment and key roles that influence reimbursement result
• In depth understanding of market access policy and issues facing in the pharmaceutical industry
• Excellent understanding of Access, HEOR
• Outstanding oral and written communication skills
• Strong Business Acumen
