The Public Agency Secretariat provides advisory services to strengthen governance, recruitment, and compensation practices of Alberta's public agencies, boards, and commissions (ABCs).
The Public Agency Secretariat (PAS) is looking for a Policy Analyst to help strengthen governance, transparency and accountability across Alberta’s public agencies, boards and commissions (ABCs).
This role brings together policy analysis, governance support, recruitment coordination, data and systems administration, reporting and stakeholder engagement. You will help departments and public agencies navigate governance and appointment requirements, support centralized recruitment processes, coordinate compensation disclosure activities, maintain accurate public agency information, and turn complex information into practical advice, tools and decision-ready products.

A university degree in public administration, business administration, political science, policy studies, arts, humanities, social sciences, or a related field. Candidates with experience supporting policy development, research, analysis, or program implementation, and interpreting legislation, policies, procedures, or governance requirements will be given preference.
