Tentative Work Schedule: Tuesday - Friday 10:00 am - 5:00 pm

SUMMARY

Incumbents support the daily operations of the Victim Assistance Program. Responsibilities include providing crisis intervention, victim advocacy and support services to victims of crime or personal crises. Incumbent coordinates and works with law enforcement, city prosecutor's office, city court, outside agencies and victims of crime.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Associate's Degree in criminal justice, social services, or a related field and two years social services, victim assistance, law enforcement, crisis intervention or related employment experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed in the job description. Additional education cannot be substituted for experience.

CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

Must have at the time of hire and be able to maintain a valid Arizona driver license.
