$61,600.00 - $77,000.00Under general supervision of the Technology Manager and guidance from the Police Technology Systems Administrator, the Police Technology Specialist provides technical support for digital video recorders (DVRs), mobile data computers (MDCs), e-citation systems, license-plate recognition systems, mobile device management (MDM) for smartphones, and other police technology equipment. This role is responsible for managing work orders, tracking shipments, maintaining repair logs, and managing inventory. The Police Technology Specialist assists in implementing new technologies as directed by management and coordinates with outside vendors to schedule repairs and updates.
