The City of Spring Lake Park is accepting applications for a full-time police officer. Applicants must meet minimum selection standards set by the Minnesota POST Board and must possess or be eligible for a full-time Minnesota Peace Officer License. The Police Department offers an onsite gun range for use anytime! Career growth opportunities, such School Resource Officer - Rotating Investigator position - Rotating Traffic Safety Officer position - Field Training Officer -Mobile Field Force - Bike Patrol. Instructor positions such as Taser, Pepper Ball, Use of Force and Firearms are also offered. The Department also provides a Wellness Program including a Mental Health Professional services and On-site fitness facility
