The Seattle Police Department is seeking a Police Data Technician Trainee to interpret, enter, maintain, and transcribe various reports and information generated from police personnel and the courts into different computer systems (Police, State and Federal). This position disseminates confidential information to department units and other law enforcement agencies.

The full salary range for this position is $35.74 - $39.97 per hour.
New employees begin at Step 1 of the pay progression, which is $35.74 hourly. Current City employees’ starting rate of pay will be based on Personnel Rules regarding promotions. This is a full-time (1.0 FTE) regular position with full benefits. This is a Civil Service position eligible for overtime.
