WE LOVE OUR WORK.

  • Responsible for providing guidance and daily supervision to staff in the Poker area. Supports and administers operational goals and monitors achievements of performance and profit objectives.
  • Enthusiastically supports, actively promotes, and demonstrates customer service in accordance with departmental and company standards and programs.
  • Ensures customer service standards are followed by all team members and addresses issues as they arise.
  • Responsible for supporting compliance to departmental budgets.
  • Schedules, trains, motivates, evaluates, and supervises staff in order to ensure that employees receive adequate guidance and resources to accomplish established objectives.
  • Establishes and monitors standard operating procedures, guidelines, and objectives; maintains administrative processes.
  • Maintains appropriate staffing in order to ensure efficient operation of the Poker Room.
  • Determines when to open and close Poker games; monitors games in progress in order to maintain optimum operating efficiency while meeting customer needs.
  • Supervises games in progress to ensure game security, compliance with established departmental policies and guidelines, and adherence to gaming regulations.
  • Responsible for game spread to provide optimal labor efficiency and guest service.
  • Monitors chips and cash transactions between dealers and customers and ensures that proper payout amounts are paid to customers, in accordance with established procedures.
  • Accounts for chips on Poker games. This includes making fills and credits as needed.
  • Responsible for ensuring regulatory compliance within area of authority and reporting potential issues to management.
  • Maintains strict confidentiality in all company matters.

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of one (1) year of experience as a table games dealer required; prior supervisory experience preferred, but not required.
  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills; must be fluent and literate in English.
  • Must be knowledgeable of applicable state gaming laws and regulations.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Complete understanding of all Poker game procedures and operations required.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of energy and take a proactive and strategic approach to dealing with issues.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with team members at all levels of the organization.
  • Highly organized and detail oriented.
  • Must have basic math skills, including the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide.
  • Must have the ability to interact with guests, staff, and colleagues and resolve problems and conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner.
  • Ability to work any shift or hours, including nights, weekends, holidays, as business needs dictate.
