Reporting to the Poker Supervisor, the Poker Clerk is responsible forproviding legendary guest service. This person is responsible for data input and various clericalfunctions of the Poker Room along with seating guests. The position requiresstrong attention to detail.
KEY JOBFUNCTIONS
EDUCATIONand/or EXPERIENCE:
·Minimumone-year computer experience required.
·Highschool diploma or equivalent is required.
·Mustknow how to operate computer and ten key adding machines.
·Mustpossess excellent customer service and communication skills.
·Must be21 years of age.
·Must beable to get along with co-workers and work as a team.
·Must beable to work any day of the week and any shift.
·Mustpresent a well-groomed appearance.
WORKENVIRONMENT
·Must beable sit for long periods of time.
·Must beable to maneuver to work inside and continuously maneuver in and aroundassigned table in the Pit department during entire shift, with regular intervalbreaks.
·Must beable to respond calmly and handle many customer demands in a fast paceenvironment.
·Respondsto visual and aural cues.
·Must beable to memorize game rules and procedures.
·Mustpossess good manual dexterity for quick and accurate handling of chips, cardsand money.
·Must beable to read, verify and sign appropriate documents relating to the game in asmall area.
·Must beable to tolerate areas containing second hand smoke, high noise levels, brightlights and dust.
