
Under the supervision of the Poker Room Shift Managers and Poker Floor Supervisors, the incumbent interacts directly with customers providing information and seating for Poker Room games. Pages using the overhead intercom system. Must possess exceptional customer service skills and handle high customer volume. Receives and routes telephone calls. Responsible for the controlling and accounting for transactions in the Poker Tournament booth. High school diploma or GED required. Three (3) to six (6) months of cash handling experience required. Basic mathematical aptitude with the ability to quickly compute simple addition and subtraction facts. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedural manuals. Ability to write routine reports and speak effectively before groups of customers or employees. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form and be able to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. The employee frequently is required to stand and walk. Fast paced atmosphere with a moderate amount of noise. Required to become proficient with department specific computer systems. Must be well organized and detail-oriented.
