We are currently hiring a part-time Point of Sale Associate for our Boise team.

- Schedule: Monday through Friday (Starting at 9:00 AM)
General Statement of Duties
The POS department assists suppliers and sales teams in getting promotional products in front of customers at the point of sale. The POS team receives requests, fills orders, and stages marketing material for delivery, transfer, or pickup. Receipts of inbound marketing materials are recorded and then stored in the warehouse or POS room for future use. This position reports to the Customer Service Manager.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Receiving – Receive, move, and process newly arriving materials in pallet format.
- Organizing- Maintain inventory and cleanliness to ensure efficient and timely picking of said media. Follow the computerized inventory system and keep current.
- Inventory – Maintain an accurate account of on-hand inventory for ordering while maintaining efficient use of available space.
- Equipment – this role requires additional equipment training for use in moving products. This equipment includes hand trucks, carts, manual or ride-on pallet jacks and forklifts. Warehouse machinery certification is required within 30 days of hire.
- Staging - Prepare point of sale products for delivery, transfer, or pick up.
- Clean and Organized – This role handles a high volume of items that flow through the department on a continual basis. It is essential that the candidate is clean and organized. A well-maintained warehouse area, office area and personal space is expected.
- Customer Service- Provide outstanding customer service to internal and external customers.
- Compliance- Follow all state and federal requirements for sales or use of point-of-sale materials.
- Additional Duties – Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Duties are subject to change at the discretion of HBC to accommodate the changes and needs of the industry and our customers.

QualificationsKnowledge, Skills and Abilities
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Demonstrate proficiency in the use of basic office equipment, ten key.
- Demonstrate proficient skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, iOS Numbers, iOS Outlook, iOS Notes, and Adobe/Publisher for needed graphics.
- Demonstrate proficient skills in organization and time management.
- Demonstrate the ability to maintain professional relationships with internal and external clients while providing high levels of service by communicating clear and timely responses to issues, requests, weekly reports, problems, and regular reporting.
- Demonstrate the ability to successfully function as a member of a team through communication while engaging in self directed resourcefulness and analytical thinking.
Essential Physical Abilities
- Sufficient clarity of speech and hearing or other communication capabilities, which permits the employee to discern verbal instructions and communicate effectively with others in person and by telephone.
- Sufficient visual and mental acuity, which permits the employee to comprehend written and verbal work instructions, and make determination of necessary actions to take to comply with hygiene and appearance standards for the facility.
- Sufficient visual and manual dexterity, which permits the employee to operate safely in a fast moving environment.
- Sufficient manual dexterity, with or without reasonable accommodation, which permits the employee to operate standard office equipment.
- Sufficient body mobility, flexibility, and agility to occasionally lift and carry objects up to 170 pounds, with assistance, up to 24 inches from the ground.
- Sufficient body mobility to climb up and down ladders.
