We are seeking a dedicated and reliable individual to join our team as a Podiatrist Assistant. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting our podiatrist in providing high-quality foot care services to residents in nursing home facilities. This is a travel position, and you will be expected to work part-time in various facilities within the area.
Requirements
· Assist the podiatrist in providing foot care services to residents, including nail care, callus removal, and wound care.
· Prepare treatment rooms and ensure all necessary equipment is sterilized and ready for use.
· Escort residents to and from the treatment area and assist them in a courteous and professional manner.
· Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
· Provide support to the podiatrist during procedures and treatments.
· Medical Assistant certification or CNA license required.
· Previous experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
· Willingness to travel to different facilities as needed.
