Blue Care is seeking applications from Podiatristskeen to join our highly skilled Statewide Allied Health Team on a Full Time or Part time basis.
This position is open to new graduates or early career podiatristslooking for a permanent Full time or part time position where you will be part of a multidisciplinary team providing care to community-based adults, and ageing customers.
You will be working for a leading not for profit organisation that promotes a positive work life balanceand flexible working arrangementsbased from a clinical hub, providing a mix of 'in centre clinic visits' with home visits as required.
About the role
You'll work with our established multidisciplinary team (MDT) to deliver the highest standard of careand podiatry treatmentusing a person-centred approach. Your main aim will be to maintain and encourage client independencein addition to considering their physical and social wellbeing. You will have support from our Statewide Allied Health teamin the form of clinical supervision from senior clinical staff, administrative staff and Allied Health Assistants in managing case load and the clinical service requirements.
Clinic based roleservicing community clients with the requirement to undertake home visits where necessary
Supervision with a senior podiatrist, and regular supportfrom our AH Podiatry Discipline Lead.

Willingness to work within Philosophy, Policies and Proceduresof Blue Care and the Uniting Church of Australia.
Demonstrated ability and proficiency inPodiatry assessment and treatmentof community dwelling customers presenting with a wide range of needs, including aged care, disability and health and wellbeing.
Demonstrated ability and proficiency inappropriate documenting and accurate record keepinginto computer programs.
Demonstrated high level ofverbal and written communication skillsparticularly in establishing andmaintaining rapportwith staff, customers and their carers.
Demonstrated ability towork effectivelyas amulti-disciplinary team member.
Demonstrated ability toprioritise and manage individual caseloadwhilst meeting service and customer needs.
Demonstrated ability to recognise other needs that Blue Care canassist customerswith and provide relevant andtimely referrals.
Confidence to satisfy the relevantprobity checksrequired by legislation or policies.
