POSITION SUMMARY: Support the Print On Demand (POD) process at the Bentonville Production Facility by assisting with order coordination, catalog maintenance, production tracking, quality checks, inventory support, kit packing, and shipping activities. The POD Coordinator works under the direction of the Print Production Manager to help ensure orders are completed accurately, efficiently, and on schedule

JOB FUNCTIONS:

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist with maintaining and updating the POD catalog process
  • Assist with all Print On Demand orders & restock fulfillment
  • Reviews POD orders to determine timeframe, process for accomplishing project, shipments and billing to the customer
  • Enter, update, and maintain accurate order-related information in applicable systems and records
  • Assist with tracking order status and communicating updates to the Print Production Manager and project personnel
  • Perform assigned quality-control checks on POD orders, printed materials, kit packing, and shipping documentation
  • Assist with kit packing, fulfillment, and special project shipments as needed
  • Assist with inventory tracking, organization, and supply replenishment; report supply needs to the Print Production Manager
  • Maintain organized POD order files, production records, shipping documentation, and related materials
  • Actively pursues practices that lead to project cost reductions to positively affect margins
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized print shop work area
  • Support department efforts to reduce waste, improve accuracy, and complete projects efficiently
  • Punctuality and Regular attendance are required on the job

  • Project outcomes and results are delivered in a safe, competent, and efficient manner as determined by internal and external processes.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience: 0–2 years of related experience in print production, fulfillment, shipping, inventory, order processing, logistics, customer service, or a related operations environment preferred. An equivalent combination of education, training, and experience will be considered. High school diploma or equivalent required. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office.

Special Skills/Qualifications: Basic knowledge of printing, production, fulfillment, or shipping processes preferred. Familiarity with print specifications and artwork files is preferred but not required. Strong communication and organizational skills a must. Willingness to learn POD systems, print processes, inventory practices, and shipping procedures.

MENTAL AND EMOTIONAL REQUIREMENTS: The incumbent must manage stress appropriately; make decisions under pressure; handle multiple priorities, work alone; work in areas that are confined and/or crowded.

ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS: The incumbent will never be exposed to toxins, chemicals, detergents, and extreme temperatures (30degrees F – 115 degrees F), dust, fumes, moving mechanical parts, x-ray/electromagnetic energy, high pitched noises, Communicable diseases, or gases. The incumbent will spend approximately 100% of their time indoors.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: SEDENTARY WORK: Lifting 70 lbs. maximum and occasionally lifting and/or carrying articles.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to lift and/or push up to 70 pounds with mechanical assistance. The incumbent will sit 15% of the time and stand/walk 85% of the time.
