This position will handle People & Organization (HR) activities for the Siemens Energy factories at Chhatrapati Shambhaji Nagar.

Stakeholders would include Business Unit Head, Location in Charge, Factory Managers, All Employees, Union Members, Global Business Services, Contract Staffing, EHS, Health Management, Government Authorities, Apprentices, educational institutes, etc. The role structurally reports to the P&O BP for Grid Technology and Business Unit Head – Grid Technology.

Your new role - challenging and future-oriented - Key Responsibilities:

• Act as the primary P&O Business Partner for the Chhatrapati Shambhaji Nagar location, aligning people priorities with business objectives.
• Partner with business leaders and P&O stakeholders to translate people strategy into actionable plans and drive execution excellence.
• Lead end-to-end talent acquisition for shopfloor employees, apprentices, trainees, and fixed-term workforce, while developing a diverse local talent pipeline.
• Drive performance management, talent reviews, succession planning, capability building, and workforce development initiatives.
• Strengthen employee engagement through communication forums, VOICES survey actions, change management, and employee feedback mechanisms.
• Oversee employee lifecycle processes, including onboarding, transfers, attendance, leave, compensation, benefits, and separations.
• Lead industrial relations activities, including union engagement, collective bargaining, grievance handling, disciplinary processes, and labor litigation support.
• Ensure compliance with labor laws, labor codes, statutory requirements, audits, inspections, and contract labour governance.
• Manage site administration and employee welfare services, including canteen, transport, safety initiatives, and participation in ISO/EMS/OHSAS audits.
• Provide HR and IR analytics, MIS reporting, compliance updates, and management insights while driving continuous improvement, digitization, and governance initiatives.

Qualifications, Knowledge/Skills, Experience:

• Postgraduate qualification in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Personnel Management, Social Work, Business Administration or related discipline
• 8-12 years of progressive experience across HR Business Partnering and Industrial Relations roles within a unionized manufacturing environment.
• Strong expertise in union engagement, collective bargaining, grievance handling, disciplinary processes, domestic enquiries, and labour authority interactions.
• Sound knowledge of Indian labour laws, Labour Codes, statutory compliance, labour litigation support, contract labour management, and workforce governance.
• Hands-on experience in talent management, HR operations, learning & development, employee engagement, and site administration including canteen and transport services.
• Proficiency in HR systems and digital tools, including Microsoft Office, Workday, SAP Concur, and related HR applications.
• Strong stakeholder management, influencing, negotiation, conflict-resolution, and communication skills with ability to engage effectively across all organizational levels.
• Provide basic P&O services and operational support to the organization like explaining guidelines and policies
