PM/PMO Legacy Modernization
Employment Type Full-time

The successful candidate will be responsible for project management and PMO of legacy modernization projects.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the project management of the following tasks:

  • Legacy Modernization Proposal
  • Analysis and evaluation of current systems
  • Study of modernization methods
  • Formulation of TOBE architecture model
  • System development and testing (development according to the above methods, comparison with the current system, etc.)
  • Overall project promotion (management of cost, schedule, resources, issues, quality, etc.)

Required Skills:

  • Experience in management of large scale projects (leadership experience may be included depending on the content of the project)
  • Experience in SI development from upstream to downstream (experience in multiple projects is desirable)
  • Ability to communicate appropriately and smoothly with internal and external stakeholders in projects.

Welcome Skills:

  • Experience in migration from mainframe to open platforms by rewriting, rehosting, rebuilding, etc.
  • Experience in global projects and working with foreign companies and people.
  • Experience (or interest) in offshore development
  • Technical knowledge of mainframe environment such as COBOL85, PL/I, RPG, JCL, Assembler, RDB, NDB, etc. of IBM, Fujitsu, Hitachi, Unisys, etc.
  • Experience in program development, operation and maintenance in one of the mainframe environments such as IBM, Fujitsu, NEC, Hitachi, Unisys, etc.
  • Experience in responding to RFIs, RFPs, etc. from customers (customer service and preparation of responses)
