PMO Training Specialist II

The PMO Training Specialist Level II is responsible for developing, delivering, and evaluating training programs that support the Project Management Office (PMO) and its initiatives. This role ensures that project managers, coordinators, and other staff acquire the necessary skills and knowledge to effectively execute projects in alignment with organizational standards and methodologies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Demonstrates our core competencies: Action oriented, change champion, customer-focused, developing self & others, and ownership
  • Design, implement, and continuously improve PMO training modules, workshops, and e-learning content.
  • Assess training needs and collaborate with PMO leadership to develop customized learning solutions.
  • Facilitate group and individual training sessions, ensuring engagement and knowledge transfer.
  • Monitor and evaluate training effectiveness through assessments, feedback, and performance metrics.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of project management best practices, tools, and industry trends.
  • Support onboarding of new PMO staff and provide ongoing professional development opportunities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Business, Project Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in project management or training within a PMO environment.
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (such as PMI, Agile, or Lean).
  • Excellent presentation, facilitation, and communication skills.
  • Proficient in instructional design and use of learning management systems.
  • Certification in project management (PMP, CAPM, or similar) preferred.
