The post is based in Revenue Scotland’s newly established Change Portfolio function, responsible for the implementation of New Devolved Taxes and other change initiatives across the organisation.
The PMO Manager will be responsible for the day to day management of the PMO, working closely with the Programme Manager and the Deputy Programme Manager to ensure the appropriate governance and support mechanisms are in place to support the delivery of change.
The post holder will engage with a wide range of stakeholders to effectively manage the PMO function, ensuring appropriate support is provided across the Portfolio team.
The PMO Manager will have line management responsibilities for staff within the PMO team
Responsibilities
Lead engagement with stakeholders at all levels to build strong working relationships, defining, planning, and agreeing specifications for portfolio reporting and embedding PPM best practice across teams.
Line management responsibility within the PMO.
Working pattern
This role is a permanent level transfer position.
Qualifications
PMO Managers should have or be working towards a professional level qualification, such as APM’s PMQ or Axelos’ P3O qualifications.
