As the PMO Manager, Professional Services, you will hold direct commercial accountability for the revenue forecast and delivery performance of your portfolio. You will lead a team of Project Managers responsible for the end-to-end delivery of customer implementation projects, with collective revenue contribution exceeding $30M annually. This is a senior portfolio leadership role with responsibility for forecast ownership, people performance, and delivery quality across your assigned portfolio.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Revenue and Commercial Accountability

  • Own the consolidated revenue forecast for your portfolio, ensuring accuracy is maintained and reported to Finance and the VP of Professional Services on a monthly basis.
  • Monitor and actively manage team chargeable utilisation across your portfolio, intervening early where individuals or the team as a whole are trending below target.
  • Ensure resource bookings in the PSA platform are maintained accurately across all in-flight projects within your portfolio, as the primary driver of the PS revenue forecast.
  • Identify and address revenue risk proactively, including margin erosion, scope creep, and forecast slippage, escalating to the VP of Professional Services where required.

  • Leadership

    • Lead and develop a high-performing team of Project Managers to support the successful implementation of Cority’s software and consulting services.
    • Define, implement, and drive adoption of project management standards, governance frameworks, and best practices.
    • Build a culture of open communication, continuous improvement, and knowledge sharing across the team.
    • Hold the team to a high standard of customer focus, with proactive problem-solving and strong delivery outcomes.
    • Partner with senior leadership to align the Professional Services department’s strategic direction with organizational growth objectives, ensuring scalability and long-term success.
    • Project and Customer Management

      • Own a portfolio of Professional Services engagements, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget with high levels of customer satisfaction.
      • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customer stakeholders and serve as an escalation point for critical issues.
      • Hold full commercial ownership of an assigned portfolio of Professional Services projects, with responsibility for revenue attainment, forecasting accuracy, margin delivery, and overall financial health.
      • Support Project Managers in identifying, assessing and mitigating delivery and commercial risks, ensuring early intervention to minimise revenue leakage, margin erosion, or customer dissatisfaction.
      • Monitor and manage portfolio-level KPIs, including revenue attainment, forecast accuracy, margin performance, and customer satisfaction, using data-driven insights to inform decision-making and corrective actions.
      • Oversee commercial arrangements, including the quality and governance of Statements of Work (SOWs), and the end-to-end change control process, ensuring all scope and commercial changes are appropriately assessed, approved, documented, and forecasted and billed.
      • Standardise and refine delivery methodologies for SaaS implementations and consulting engagements to ensure consistency and quality across the portfolio.
      • Build and maintain a knowledge base with templates, tools, and best practices to empower team members and promote operational consistency.
      • Operational Excellence

        • Lead resource planning and project staffing across your portfolio, ensuring adequate capacity, balanced workloads, and that incoming projects are resourced ahead of go-live.
        • Develop and maintain systems for tracking key projects and portfolio performance indicators (KPIs), providing actionable insights and comprehensive reporting.
        • Continuously enhance Professional Services practices, leveraging data analytics to drive efficiency, scalability, and improved customer outcomes.
        • Partner with Sales, Finance, Product and Engineering to support project delivery and key operational processes.

QUALIFICATIONS AND CHARACTERISTICS OF AN IDEAL CANDIDATE:

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, project management, engineering, or a related field is required.

      • Experience creating and reviewing Statements of Work (SOWs).

Who You Are:
