Job Title: PMO Governance & Assurance Analyst (SharePoint) - 16 month FTC

Location: Preston; Lancashire: We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements – please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular role.

Salary: Circa £44,000 dependent on experience

We are seeking a PMO Governance & Assurance Analystto join the Enterprise IT (EIT) Project Management Office. This role plays a key part in delivering governance, assurance and reporting across a diverse portfolio of projects and programmes.

With a focus on SharePoint, you will manage and support the Portfolio & Project SharePoint sites, ensuring effective governance, access control and compliance. You will also provide independent assurance through the review of project and reporting documentation, helping to drive delivery excellence and continuous improvement across the portfolio.

Core duties:

  • Provide governance and ongoing support for Portfolio & Project SharePoint sites
  • Manage SharePoint permissions, ensuring appropriate access and compliance
  • Conduct reporting document assurance reviews to ensure quality and accuracy
  • Perform project document assurance reviews across the project lifecycle
  • Build and maintain effective stakeholder relationships to support governance and delivery excellence

Essential Skills:

  • Experience in Quality & Assurance within a PMO or project environment
  • Proven SharePoint experience, including governance and permissions management
  • Good project knowledge, with an understanding of project lifecycles and delivery frameworks

The Team:

The BAE Systems Enterprise IT Project Management Office (PMO) supports the delivery of a wide range of IT projects and programmes across the business. The PMO provides critical services including governance, control, resource management, and assurance.

This role sits within the Governance, Quality & Assurance team, where you will provide end-to-end governance of key project and programme documentation while managing and supporting the Enterprise IT SharePoint environment. You will work closely with delivery teams and stakeholders across the organisation, with opportunities to develop your skills and build your experience within a collaborative and evolving team.
