Job Description

Affinity Water has a new position available as a PMO Analyst working in our Transformation Team.

The Role:

As a PMO Analyst, you will play a central role in supporting the effective running of the Customer Transformation Programme (CTP).

You’ll help drive high quality governance, maintain accurate financial oversight, and ensure consistent project delivery standards across the programme. Working closely with colleagues across Customer Transformation and the wider business, you ll be a trusted partner who brings structure, clarity, and rigour to programme operations. You ll also contribute to maintaining best practice frameworks and be an active, valued member of the programme team.

What you'll be doing:

  • Co‑ordinate all Customer Transformation governance activities, including scheduling and preparing agendas for weekly programme meetings, Design Authority, Strategy Programme Board, and other governance forums.

  • Work closely with the central PMO to update actuals and forecasts across the Customer Transformation programme.

  • Support Quarterly Forecast Reviews and maintain the Customer Transformation business case.

  • Conduct regular audits to ensure Project Managers and Workstream Leads are using approved templates and delivery frameworks.

  • Perform project health checks to ensure documentation, plans, and supporting materials are up to date and accessible.

  • Work with the central PMO to embed required templates and frameworks across Customer Transformation.

  • Provide support to Project Managers, including scoping workstream activities and assisting with workshops.

  • Ensure consistent application of agreed tools, methodologies, and governance frameworks across the programme.

What you'll need:

  • Experience working within an enterprise PMO or departmental PMO, ideally within an IT or transformation environment.

  • Understanding of project management methodologies, with awareness of both waterfall and agile delivery.

  • Microsoft Office proficiency – confident using Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Teams.

  • Highly organised – able to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

  • Financially literate – comfortable working with numbers and understanding project finance basics.

  • Excellent communication skills – able to tailor communication to different audiences.

  • Experience with Microsoft Project and/or Planner (essential)

  • Experience with Primavera P6 (desirable)

  • Hours of work: 08:30am - 17:00pm (Mon - Thurs) 08:30am - 16:30pm (Friday)
