Job Description
Wood is currently recruiting for an experienced PMC Senior Engineer (Maintenance Operations & Readiness) for our ADNOC project in Abu Dhabi within our Oil, Gas & New Energies business.
Due to the nature of the projects and client expectation, the position will be based full time at our client office in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.

- Develop and execute Maintenance Readiness Plansfor new offshore facilities and brownfield projects.
- Review engineering deliverables to ensure maintainability, operability, and reliability.
- Establish preventive and predictive maintenance strategies.
- Develop maintenance philosophies, procedures, work instructions, and standard operatingprocedures.
- Prepare and populate SAP PM/CMMS with:
- Equipment hierarchy
- Functional locations
- Equipment master data
- Preventive maintenance plans
- Task lists
- Bills of Materials (BOM)
- Review equipment criticality and perform ReliabilityCentered Maintenance (RCM), Failure Mode andEffects Analysis (FMEA), and Risk-Based Maintenance (RBM).
- Coordinate with Engineering, EPC contractors, Operations, Commissioning, and Vendors during project execution.
- Verify spare parts strategy, warehouse readiness, and critical spare availability.
- Participate in Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT), Site Acceptance Tests (SAT), Mechanical Completion, and Commissioning activities.
- Lead maintenance input during Pre-Startup Safety Reviews (PSSR).
- Review commissioning and start-up proceduresfrom a maintenance perspective.
- Support asset integrity, shutdown planning, andturnaround readiness.
- Lead Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA) for major equipment failures.
- Monitor maintenance KPIs including:
- Equipment Availability
- MTBF
- MTTR
- PM Compliance
- Maintenance Backlog
- Reliability Index

Expected:
- Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering
- 15+ years in oil & gas maintenance.
- Minimum 5 years in offshore operations.
- Experience with ADNOC, major EPC contractors, or international oil companies is preferred.
- Proven experience in operations readiness, commissioning, maintenance planning, and asset management.
- Strong knowledge of offshore production facilities including:
- Rotating equipment
