Wood is currently recruiting for an experienced Material Supervisor to be based at site for ADNOC Onshore client to join us and make an impact within our Oil, Gas & New Energies business.
Job Purpose
The PMC Material Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all material management activities at the project site, ensuring timely receipt, inspection, storage, preservation, issuance, and tracking of materials required for construction, pre-commissioning, and commissioning activities. The role ensures compliance with ADNOC standards, project specifications, HSE requirements, and project schedules.

Key Responsibilities
- Supervise material receiving, inspection, storage, preservation, and issuance activities at site.
- Monitor material availability against construction priorities and project schedules.
- Coordinate with Procurement, Expediting, Logistics, Warehouse, and Construction teams to ensure timely delivery of materials.
- Review Material Requisitions (MR), Material Receiving Reports (MRR), and inventory records.
- Maintain material tracking systems and generate material status reports.
- Identify and expedite critical and long-lead items to avoid construction delays.
- Ensure proper storage and preservation of equipment, piping, valves, instruments, electrical materials, and bulk materials.
- Coordinate material reconciliation and surplus material management.
- Verify that all materials comply with approved specifications, vendor documentation, and quality requirements.
- Support mechanical completion, pre-commissioning, and commissioning teams by ensuring material availability.
- Liaise with EPC contractors and vendors regarding material shortages, discrepancies, and delivery issues.
- Ensure compliance with ADNOC HSE standards, warehouse safety procedures, and environmental requirements.
- Participate in site meetings and provide material status updates to project management.

Expected:
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics, Materials Management, or related discipline.
- Minimum 10–15 years of experience in material management within Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Refinery, or EPC/PMC projects.
- Minimum 5 years of experience on ADNOC projects or major Middle East oil & gas projects preferred.
- Strong knowledge of material control systems, warehouse management, preservation requirements, and inventory control.
- Experience with EPC contractors, procurement processes, and logistics coordination.
- Familiarity with SAP, Oracle, or other material management systems.
- Good understanding of ADNOC standards and project execution requirements.
- Candidates with previous experience on ADNOC Onshore PMC projects, particularly in large brownfield or greenfield developments, material control, warehouse supervision, and construction support activities will be highly preferred
