Job Objectives
To lead and manage all project planning, scheduling, progress monitoring, and cost control activities for ADNOC offshore projects, ensuring timely delivery within approved budgets while maintaining compliance with ADNOC standards, project controls procedures, and contractual requirements. The role is responsible for providing accurate forecasting, performance analysis, and decision support to project management to ensure successful project execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage integrated project schedules (L1–L4) using Primavera P6
- Establish and maintain project baselines, WBS, and coding structures
- Monitor schedule performance, identify delays, and implement recovery plans
- Conduct schedule risk analysis and propose mitigation strategies
- Prepare, control, and monitor project budgets and cost forecasts
- Track actual vs. planned costs and analyze variances
- Develop cash flow projections and cost reports
- Maintain cost control systems in line with ADNOC requirements
- Implement progress measurement systems across all project phases
- Validate contractor progress and ensure accurate reporting
- Prepare weekly/monthly progress reports, dashboards, and KPIs
- Highlight deviations, risks, and critical issues to management
- Review contractor schedules, reports, and cost submissions
- Support evaluation of claims, variations, and change orders
- Coordinate with contractors and internal stakeholders
- Participate in project review and progress meetings
- Identify and manage schedule and cost risks
- Maintain and update risk registers
- Assess impact of changes on project cost and timeline
- Ensure proper change control processes are followed
- Lead and mentor planning and cost control team members
- Ensure standardization of planning and reporting practices
- Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers
- Ensure effective use of tools (Primavera P6, SAP, Excel, Power BI)
- Maintain data accuracy and integrity in project systems
- Ensure compliance with ADNOC standards, procedures, and HSE policies
- Prepare and present reports to project management and stakeholders
- Provide data-driven insights to support decision-making
- Liaise with ADNOC and external stakeholders on project performance
