Wood is currently recruiting for an experienced PMC Construction Supervisor - Civil for our Engineering team in Abu Dhabi within our within our Oil, Gas & New Energies business based in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. Due to the nature of the projects and client expectation, the position will be site based in Abu Dhabi.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced PMC Construction Supervisor - Civil with a proven track record in the detailed design of ADNOC projects.

Key objectives for this role:

• Supervise daily civil construction activities and workforce.
• Monitor execution of foundations, buildings, roads, paving, drainage systems, trenches, culverts, and underground structures.
• Ensure construction follows approved drawings, specifications, and method statements.
• Coordinate subcontractors and site crews for smooth execution.
• Enforce HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) requirements and company safety policies.
• Conduct toolbox talks and safety briefings.
• Identify unsafe conditions and stop unsafe work practices.
• Ensure proper use of PPE and compliance with permit-to-work systems.
• Participate in safety inspections and incident investigations.

Expected:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering / Construction
• Minimum 10 years of experience in oil & gas projects.
• PMC experience is high preferable
• Large projects experience is must. Middle East / GCC experience on projects with Saudi Aramco, Qatar Energy, PDO, etc. is a must
• At least 3+ years’ experience in similar position
• At least 5+ years in a PMC role on ADNOC or similar Middle East projects
• Strong experience in large-scale EPC/EPCM projects (CAPEX > USD 500M)
• Familiarity with ADNOC standards, specifications, and work practices is essential
• Must be qualified to obtain a CICPA and a UAE work visa
