Job Description

Every container that moves through our depot passes through you first. As PM Controller, you’re the control point for the depot: coordinating truck movements, managing container transactions and keeping the flow of freight running smoothly and safely.

It’s a role for someone who likes pace and precision. You’ll work within a small, close-knit team and be the main point of contact for drivers, customers and operational staff, so your decisions and communication directly shape how well the depot performs each day.

What you’ll do

• Process inbound and outbound trucks and containers quickly and accurately
• Record container and vehicle movements in Containerchain, keeping our data clean and reliable
• Manage release information and customer data
• Work with yard operations to keep truck turnaround times tight
• Stay connected with drivers and operational staff via two-way radio
• Respond to customer enquiries by phone and email
• Identify and report rejected containers to Operations

Qualifications

What you’ll bring

• 3+ years experience in a container park, transport, logistics or freight environment
• Familiarity with Containerchain and 1-Stop systems (highly regarded)
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• A sharp eye for detail and a commitment to data accuracy
• The ability to stay composed and effective when the depot is at its busiest
• Solid organisation and time management
• Confidence with operational systems and intermediate computer skills
