The group has expanded to include the Italian and European inspired eateries of Pizzeria Alberico and Sunday Vinyl and seek to continue this dedication to providing warm and gracious hospitality with the opening ofTavernettaVail at the Four Seasons Resort by hiring enthusiastic, ambitious, and humble staff to uphold a culture of excellence, education, and respect.
About the role:
The position isaparttime seasonal position onthe food and beverage team and provides an expertly served beverage or dining experience;anticipatingthe guests’ needs and an expert on the menu optionsfordinner servicein the fine dining outlet.
What you will do:
Create a wonderful dining experience by connecting with guests andmaintainingan exceptional knowledge of food, wine, spirits, and mixed drinks and information about menu item preparation methods
Communicate guest orders including any special needs or requests to the kitchen using the hotel’s point-of-sales system.
Responsible for delivering and clearing guest food as well asassistingwith any guest needs throughout serviceina timelymanner
Responsible for accurately closing guest checks andprocessingcash and credit card payments.
Communicate with other team members for support and accuracy oftableservice delivery.
What you bring:
2+yearsserverexperience inafast-pacedhigh-endrestaurant settingrequired
This role has direct contact with guests and as such,good communicationskills are a necessity.
Fluency in English isrequiredfor thislocationand this job requires applicants to have current work authorization in the in the United States.
Must be able to stand for 8 hours.
