Job Description
TITLE:
Process Manager - Accounts Payable
The Process Manager - Operations (AP Manager) oversees the daily operations of the accounts payable department, including managing staff, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of the process.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and monitor day-to-day accounts payable transactions of multi-companies
- Lead the AP team, overseeing assignments, training, workload evaluation, and daily processing.
- Establish KPIs, monitor team performance, and provide coaching to achieve objectives.
- Investigate and resolve escalated issues and concerns in collaboration with respective teams.
- Drive continuous process improvements through standardization and automation, ensuring alignment with the company's growth objectives.
- Support audits by providing requested documentation and explanations
- Develop, implement, and enforce compliance with internal controls, policies, and procedures
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Accountancy graduate, preferably a CPA with at least 5 years of relevant experience in a similar role.,
- Knowledgeable in accounting software (SAGE and NetSuite)
- Experience in Expense Management software such as Concur
- Ability to manage high volume AP process and with multicompany AP experience Proven leadership skills and the ability to manage and develop a team of accounts payable professionals
- Knowledgeable with IFRS and US GAAP.
