This position exists to administer the Minnesota State Plumbing Code by performing complex engineering plan reviews for plumbing systems in all building types except single family homes, two family homes, townhomes, and multifamily homes with four or fewer dwellings. The incumbent applies licensed professional engineering judgment to determine compliance with the Minnesota State Plumbing Code, referenced standards, and the Minnesota Building Code Chapter 1300 to protect public health and safety.
Minimum Qualifications
This position requires the incumbent to hold a current Minnesota Professional Engineer (PE) license under the Minnesota Board of Architecture, Engineering, Land Surveying, Landscape Architecture, Geoscience, and Interior Design.
Experience designing, documenting, and/or installing plumbing systems compliant with the Minnesota State Plumbing Code under the direct supervision of a Minnesota Licensed Engineer or Minnesota Licensed Master Plumber.
