Southern Mechanical is looking for a skilled and dependable Plumbing Journeyman to join our team. This position is ideal for an experienced plumber who takes pride in their work, works well independently and with a team, and understands the unique demands of multi-family construction and service.

What You'll Do:
As a Plumbing Journeyman, you will be responsible for performing plumbing installations, repairs, maintenance, and service work for multi-family and commercial customers.
Key responsibilities include:
- Perform plumbing installations, repairs, maintenance, and service calls
- Diagnose plumbing issues and determine appropriate repair solutions
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, fixtures, piping, and related equipment
- Read and interpret plumbing plans, drawings, and specifications
- Ensure all work is completed accurately, safely, and in accordance with applicable codes and standards
- Communicate professionally with customers and explain plumbing issues and recommended solutions in easy-to-understand terms
- Build positive customer relationships and identify appropriate products and services based on customer needs
- Work closely with customer service representatives, dispatchers, and other team members to ensure a positive customer experience
- Train and mentor plumbing helpers and less-experienced team members
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
- Maintain an organized and properly stocked company vehicle
- Complete service documentation, paperwork, and job records accurately and on time
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- 3–5+ years of plumbing experience preferred
- Journeyman plumbing experience required
- Valid driver's license and good driving record
- EPA certification preferred/required as applicable to the position
- OSHA 10 certification preferred
- Experience with multi-family plumbing construction or service is a plus
