We invite high-calibre candidates to fill the Plumbing & Fire Protection Engineer position in Malaysia and be based at Maverick United Consulting Engineers, Bukit Jalil. KL.

Job Duties

• Design and develop plumbing and fire protection systems, including engineering calculations, specifications, and drawings.
• Perform hydraulic calculations and technical assessments to ensure compliance with project requirements.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, including Mechanical, Electrical, Structural, Architectural, and BIM disciplines.
• Review contractor submissions, shop drawings, and technical queries during project execution.
• Ensure designs comply with relevant codes, standards, and local authority requirements.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 to 8 years of experience in plumbing and fire protection system design within an engineering consultancy environment.
• Strong knowledge of NFPA, BS, MS, and local regulatory requirements.
• Experience in engineering design, calculations, technical documentation, and project coordination.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
