Carry out a range of activities to support the development and implementation of engineering solutions, Typically assigned to provide a substantial technical role for single discipline on smaller, less complex tasks or elements of larger, less complex tasks within a project and would not ordinarily act in a Task Management role.

Role Accountabilities:

• • Deliver detailed engineering work—including calculations, technical designs, models, and reports—with limited supervision, while gaining understanding of multiple project elements.
  • Conduct investigations, analyses, data gathering, and verification checks to support technical solutions and ensure quality requirements align with Arcadis systems.
  • Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams across Arcadis GECs and global offices to communicate progress, resolve issues, and support safe design processes.
  • Identify changes in delivery requirements, raise them with Task Managers, assist with resolutions, and contribute to budgeting for smaller work scopes.
  • Commit to continuous professional development through on-the-job training, targeted learning, and execution of development plans agreed upon with the line manager.

Qualifications & Experience:

• • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent, with professional engineering license if required, and 3–10 years of relevant experience.
  • Ability to operate independently as a specialist discipline engineer, provide technical guidance to junior team members, and contribute to the development of engineering solutions.
  • Strong communication, planning, interpersonal, and time management skills, with proven performance in meeting project budget and schedule requirements.
  • Proficiency in Arcadis management systems, relevant engineering software, hazard identification, sustainable development best practices, and evidence-based problem solving.
  • Understanding of one or more business sectors, ability to participate in technique and method selection, and capability to support safe and sustainable engineering activities.
