Job Description

About the role

Based in Garfield North, this role will see the successful apprentice completing a Certificate III in Plumbing whilst working a fulltime, Monday to Friday roster under the supervision of a qualified plumber.

As an apprentice, you will be provided one on one mentorship and guidance and an abundance of opportunities to grow your skills and knowledge.

You will gain hands on experience, working site to site covering West and South Gippsland and be exposed to various activities including new construction, renovations and repairs.

What you will be doing

  • Gain practical experience in the safe use of power tools and hand tools
  • Participate in regular training and development to enhance your knowledge and skills
  • Maintain a clean and organised work environment, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Basic repairs and maintenance: perform basic repairs and maintenance on plumbing systems. This includes fixing leaks, unclogging drains, and replacing worn parts.
  • Reading and Interpreting Blueprints
  • Assisting with Installations of pipes, fixtures and other plumbing materials.

What we are looking for

  • Current driver’s license and reliable vehicle
  • White Card
  • Industry Experience (desirable)
  • Mature minded, adaptable and ready to learn
  • Certificate II in Plumbing (Highly Regarded)
  • Enjoys working collaboratively within a team
  • Ability to work under pressure
