Job Title: Plumber – Water Distribution Systems

Experience & Certification Requirements (MANDATORY)

Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in water distribution systems repair and maintenance
Fully Certified Plumber – Master Plumber or Journeyman Plumber ONLY
Construction industry experience is mandatory

Eligibility

Applicant must be locally available in Qatar
Must hold a valid Freelance Visa

Job Responsibilities

Install, maintain, and repair water distribution systems, including chilled water, steam, heating, potable water, gas, drainage, and sewage systems
Inspect joints, valves, pumps, boilers, heaters, sinks, commodes, tanks, lift stations, and other plumbing components to identify malfunctions
Perform preventive maintenance inspections and execute corrective maintenance works
Assemble and install pipes, tubing, and fittings using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement, solvent welding, caulking, or soldering
Operate plumbing tools and equipment such as reamers, threading machines, sewer tapes, pipe cutters, snakes, and standard hand tools
Install and service pumps, piping networks, fixtures, and plumbing systems above and below ground
Accurately capture and update maintenance data in Maximo or similar CMMS systems
Ensure work is carried out in accordance with construction drawings, codes, safety regulations, and site procedures
Perform additional plumbing-related duties as assigned by site management

Key Skills & Competencies

Strong expertise in water distribution and plumbing systems
Ability to read and interpret plumbing drawings and specifications
Proven experience in preventive and corrective maintenance
Good manual dexterity and physical capability for site-based work
Strong awareness of construction safety standards
