The Role
We’re seeking a Plumber – Night Shift to help keep critical airport facilities safe, reliable, and operating efficiently throughout the night. Working across a major aviation environment, you’ll deliver preventative and reactive plumbing maintenance while supporting operational continuity and rapid incident response.
This is a permanent full-time night shift role, supporting essential operations across site plumbing systems and assets. You’ll work closely with Facilities Managers, the FM Hub, and other trades to ensure plumbing services are delivered safely, efficiently, and in line with contractual and compliance requirements.

What You’ll Be Doing

Deliver preventative and corrective maintenance across plumbing systems and site assets

Diagnose plumbing faults and complete repairs to restore asset functionality

Respond to reactive maintenance requests, breakdowns, and urgent plumbing faults within required response times

Support emergency response activities and critical incident management where required

Complete work orders accurately within CMMS systems, including time, materials, and completion details

Ensure works are correctly documented, categorised, and closed out in line with requirements

Support minor works, replacements, plumbing upgrades, and asset improvement activities

Follow safe systems of work including permits, isolation procedures, SWMS, and site-specific safety requirements

Work collaboratively with Facilities Managers, FM Hub Coordinators, subcontractors, and other trades to minimise disruption to operations

Participate in night shift handovers, operational briefings, and continuous improvement initiatives
Your Education, Experience & Skills

Trade qualification as a Plumber
-
Current plumber’s licence desirable

Demonstrated experience maintaining plumbing systems within commercial, industrial, or infrastructure environments

Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills

Experience with preventative and corrective maintenance practices

Experience using CMMS systems such as Maximo, or similar work order management platforms

Sound understanding of WHS requirements, plumbing safety standards, and compliance obligations

Ability to work effectively within a shift-based roster, including nights, weekends, and on-call requirements

Ability to work in a fast-paced operational environment with competing priorities

Strong communication and teamwork skills

Experience in aviation, transport, or critical infrastructure environments highly regarded

ASIC Clearance desirable

Full working rights in Australia essential
