The position: We’re looking for a Plumber to join our team! This role is perfect for someone who can be responsible for the maintenance and repair of plumbing systems.
The Location: 810 Martin Luther King Jr Way S. Seattle, WA 98144
The ideal candidate will have:
- High school education or GED as required by Union Apprenticeship Program.
- Completion of a plumbing apprenticeship program or general training and experience as a maintenance plumber
- Valid Washington State Driver's license and fully insurable driving record
- Valid Washington State Journeyman Plumber's license
What will you do?
- Installs, replaces, services, and repairs residential and commercial plumbing, including water heaters, sinks, toilets, urinals, piping, traps, and sewers.
- Answers service calls.
- Accurately records material usage and completes maintenance work orders.
- Maintains an adequate supply of replacement parts.
- Instructs residents in proper care of plumbing systems.
- Supports development and implementation of goals, work plans, performance measures, and continuous improvement; collaborates effectively and works well under pressure.
- Attends required training and safety meetings; maintains PPE; reports injuries, illnesses, and hazardous conditions; follows all safety and health guidelines; supports and participates in Emergency Preparedness tasks.
- Performs work during off hours as needed for job or emergencies.
- Prepares required reports.
- Participate in and support the agency's Safety and Health Program and Emergency Preparedness tasks.
