The Plumber is responsible for installing, maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting plumbing systems throughout Cleveland Clinic facilities to support a safe, functional, and compliant healthcare environment. Daily responsibilities include inspecting equipment, diagnosing and resolving plumbing issues, performing preventive maintenance, and ensuring all work meets applicable building codes, regulatory requirements, and safety standards. Working closely with skilled trades professionals, supervisors, and project managers, this caregiver supports construction, renovation, and maintenance projects while helping ensure the reliability of critical infrastructure systems such as water distribution, drainage, and fire protection. Although not directly involved in patient care, this role plays an essential part in maintaining the safety, hygiene, and operational readiness of healthcare facilities, contributing to a positive environment for patients, visitors, and caregivers.
A caregiver in this position will work 3rd shift from 10:30pm to 7:00am starting Sunday night through Thursday night. Coverage is required for weekends and holidays with weekend coverage being once per month.
