Job Description

Our client is seeking a skilled and reliable Plumber to join its Engineering and Maintenance team in Mellieħa.

The selected candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing systems across the property, ensuring the smooth operation of water supply, drainage, and related infrastructure within a busy hospitality environment.

This role is ideal for a hands-on technician with strong problem-solving skills and experience in building services or hotel maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair water supply, drainage, and sanitation systems.
• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on plumbing installations across guest rooms, public areas, and technical areas.
• Diagnose and repair leaks, blockages, pipework issues, and related faults.
• Maintain and service pumps, water heaters, valves, and filtration systems.
• Respond promptly to plumbing emergencies and breakdowns.
• Support refurbishment and renovation projects as required.
• Conduct routine inspections to ensure systems are operating efficiently.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a safe and organised condition.
• Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with health and safety regulations and company standards.

Requirements

• Only candidates currently residing in Malta or candidates based in Europe holding EU nationality will be considered.
• Previous experience as a Plumber or in a similar building services role.
• Good knowledge of plumbing systems, tools, and repair techniques.
• Ability to read technical drawings will be considered an asset.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience within hotel, commercial, or industrial maintenance environments will be considered an advantage.
