Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Maintain a comprehensive preventative maintenance program in the areas of pipework systems, backflow preventers, cartridge changes, grease traps, etc
• Trouble shoot and repair a variety of plumbing issues, including toilets, urinals, flush controls
• Some new install of pipe work and fixtures
• Assist, as required, other skilled trades in a variety of maintenance repairs.
• Represent Vinik Sports Group professionally at all times
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Recommended Journeyman Plumbing license
• Must be 18 years or older with a high school diploma or GED required
• Ability to work in large crowds for an extended period of time
• Ability to lift 25 pounds without accommodation
• Five (5) years trade experience
• Thorough knowledge of plumbing codes
• Strong understanding of equipment
• Ability to read and decipher blueprints, schematics, and working equipment documents
• Ability to decipher problems and remedy same
• Team worker with emphasis on safety in the workplace
• Ability to work both independently and in team-oriented environments
• Detail-oriented w/ excellent organizational skills
• Creative and proactive problem solver
• Ability to generate trust and support
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills
• Strong work ethic
• Healthy and positive attitude
• Must be able to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and selected holidays
• Must have the ability to work off ladders and use scissor lifts.
• Excellent attendance and time management skills
• Computer knowledge

Working Conditions

• Ability to work efficiently and effectively in office and arena environment that can be exciting, loud and distracting
• Ability to work extended hours including late nights, holidays, and weekends as needed
• Ability to lift/carry/move up to 50lbs
• Ability to work in cold/hot indoor and outdoor temperatures
• Ability to use hands and fingers on office and mobile technology
• Ability to work in areas that can become crowded with equipment and/or people
• Ability to move comfortable throughout the arena with minimal accommodations
• Ability to stand on feet for long periods of time, walk long distances and climb stairs.
• Ability to work comfortable around special effects including, but not limited to: haze, strobe lights, lasers, etc
• Must be able to walk up to 0.5 miles to and from designated employee parking areas, including in varying earther conditions and during high-traffic event times
