StudioBuilt homes are constructed at Amherst’s housing studio in Cuero, Texas as well as partner studios across the Southeast and then installed on site. At full capacity, the Cuero facility will create over 250 manufacturing jobs, making Amherst the third largest employer in the area. The StudioBuilt team is comprised of experienced individuals from all trades, working to continuously improve the production process.
We are looking for professionals with a current or expired Plumbing license within Texas If you possess strong communication, interpersonal and leadership traits this is the opportunity for you to get in on the ground floor of a new venture in Modular housing in the CUERO TX factory.
Required
Must have held or still have Plumbing Texas JMN License
Minimum of four years’ experience
Ability to read and interpret shop drawings /blueprints etc.
Ability to Lead and train manufacturing associates
Job Duties
Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with Plant and Safety procedures, rules, and regulations.
Leads a team to install all plumbing requirements for our modular homes
Inspect and test and repair as necessary all Plumbing fixtures.
Gives constructive feedback to associates on quality of their work
Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required duties
Give feedback to help reduce costs of materials or time to perform tasks.
Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the Team Member may be exposed to noise, wood products, plastics, lubricants moving mechanical parts and vibration.
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling and climbing.
The employee must frequently lift and/or move items over 75 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Must be able to communicate effectively (written, verbal) and maintain a professional level of interaction with all members of the company to deliver accurate information.
COMPUTER SKILLS
Must be computer literate to be able to read documents on computer or iPad
