Responsibilities

  • Ensure the health, comfort and safety of our Customers
  • Ensure daily communication with Journeyperson
  • Service plumbing systems, fixtures, piping equipment and controls
  • Size, install, test, adjust and service natural gas equipment ranging from residential furnaces to industrial boilers
  • Attend and successfully complete the required technical and safety training

Experience and Educational Requirements:

  • Minimum 2nd year plumbing apprentice
  • Previous experience an asset

Technical Requirements:

  • Working knowledge of English both verbal and written
  • Valid Driver’s license and driver’s abstract required
  • Working knowledge of electrical meter and electricity

  • Ability to take responsibility for all actions and decisions and to follow through until a resolution is obtained

  • Strong planning and organizational skills coupled with ability to multi-task and prioritize
  • Excellent time-management skills
  • Ability to work independently (self managed) and with other Associates in a team environment
  • Ability to learn quickly, adapt to change and be flexible in nature
  • Demonstrates a positive attitude, enthusiasm and assertiveness
  • Have the physical stamina to lift heavy pipes weighing in excess of 25 kilograms

Additional Details:

  • Valid driver license
  • Own reliable vehicle
  • On call over time required
