About this role
This position is for a Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) Sr Engineer for the KGS Edwards brand of commercial fire products.
Role Purpose
Assumes responsibility for managing project schedules and reporting the project status for PLM migration efforts across global landscape. This role evaluates the tools and processes used by different business units and seeks to find a cost-effective solution.
Key Responsibilities
Provide support for users of PLM systems across global engineering teams.
Lead upgrades, enhancements, and technical documentation for the system.
Manage projects and identify system improvements for the PLM systemAssist in system administration, configuration, and troubleshooting to ensure smooth operation.
Work closely with engineering, IT, and business teams to improve workflows and system functionality.
Support user training and onboarding to drive adoption of PLM best practices.
Ensure data integrity and system compliance with company standards.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in related engineering field
5 plus years of experience working with PLM systems
Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams)
Experience in system administration, data management, or user support for enterprise software.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to communicate technical information effectively.
Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams in a global environment.
Preferred Qualifications
ARAS, Windchill or PDXpert experience
PMP certification is recommended
