A Day in the Life:
The PLM Associate will be responsible for assisting PD / Costing / Material team to ensure all required details are accurately input into the PLM system and be able to prepare the regular reports for respective functions in a timely manner.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Create accurate material and component records, according to required fields and in a timely manner that supports the development and production calendar. SMS BOM and Production BOM creation.
SMS and Production BOM building – Populate all necessary fields in PLM per business requirements, consistently and in a timely manner that supports the development and production calendar.
Communication with vendors, suppliers, internal team to get the required data for the PLM system input.
Validate data accuracy of the PLM system with manager and supplier
Key all data for Jew, Soft Accessories and Home.
Under manager’s direction, review and oversee issuance of carryover BOM for accuracy and completeness prior to release.
PLM reporting- support KPI management, data pulls for analysis.
Participate in training as needed.
Assist training new and existing team members to use PLM system for informational or reporting purposes.
Provide input related to PLM system updates or provide feedback on usability as needed or upon request.
Adaptable to use new or adjunct software, according to the evolving needs of the business.
Perform ad-hoc duties assigned by the manager.
EDUCATION & PRIOR EXPERIENCE
College w/2 years in the areas of jewelry or footwear or handbag experience.
Knowledge of PLM system or related systems is a plus.
Good communication and good team player, honest and responsible.
Willing to work under pressure and work overtime for peak season.
Proficiency in spoken and written English and Mandarin
Excellent computer skills in MS Office, Word and Excel
