PLC Engineer | Fargo, ND

JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a motivated and hardworking individual to join our team in Fargo, ND as a PLC Engineer. You will be part of a group of engineers dedicated to high-quality work, value-add solutions, skill development, and career growth. As a PLC Engineer, you will:

• Provide setup and operation support for all automated manufacturing systems and associated equipment
• Program Allen-Bradley PLCs
• Complete basic repair and maintenance on electrical equipment
• Use robotics knowledge to ensure proper programming and function
• Work collaboratively with suppliers and Applied partners
• Contribute to projects that impact communities in West Fargo, Moorhead, Dilworth, Horace and the greater Fargo metro area
• Apply your skills in a dynamic environment that values ownership and innovation

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering required
• Basic robotics knowledge required
• The ability to read and interpret electrical, instrument, and control diagrams required
• A minimum of one year of professional experience is required; for this role, co-ops and internships can be considered as professional experience
• Previous experience with Allen-Bradley PLC programming required
• Experience in electronic repair and maintenance is a plus
• Capable of working independently and as a team member
• Strong work ethic and unwavering integrity
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a learning mindset
• Curiosity, problem solving, and analytical thinking
• Effective verbal and written communication
• Desire to work on a variety of projects

ESTIMATED PAY RANGE

Engineer I: $40.45–$46.52/hour

Engineer II: $44.14–$50.76/hour

Engineer III: $47.83–$55.00/hour

Senior Engineer: $51.51–$59.24/hour

Final compensation is based on experience, skills, and alignment with role expectations. Paid overtime may be available.
