Responsibilities

Purpose of the Role 1) Responsible for controls and automation perimeter of industrialization activities in IAP.2) Planning, execution of controls related activities along with maintenance, process teams and suppliers to get the targeted results within the time frame. 3) Study the new requirements of various projects, optimize the investment and execution cost of controls & Automation partKey Job Responsibilities Responsible for the minor / major modifications of the facility as per the engineering requirement - Wiring, new logic creations in PLC, HMI,Drive & Robot ProgramsCoordinate with maintenance, process & Suppliers - Based on the requirement / issues correct the PLC, Robot & HMI programsStudy the installed equipment Logics, interlocks - suggest and implement the solutions. Taken corrective actions for the issues. Individually handles the PLC, HMI, DRIVE & Robot modifications and troubleshootingSimulation study of robot for the given application with reach, load and other parameters - Suggest the optimize solutionsStudy the PLC, HMI & Robot Memory utilisation - Analysis and optimizeResponsible of executing the new model projects, capacity expansion projects, Engineering change projects - Controls & Automation partTechnical concept design, Technical document preparation, alignment with the required team & finalise for the new facility / project requirementsDiscuss with vendors on the technical requirements, standards, scope of controls and automation. Align and finalise the scope / goalPrepare the RFI / RFQ based on the technical scope, Floating RFQ, Obtaining Offers and Scrutinizing offers.Technical alignment and validation document preparation for the suppliers as per the RFQPreparation of Micro schedules of the activities, follow-up with the various parties, appraise the VPE management.Follow the PR, PO process as per Stellantis requirementsParticipate the Design approval (DAP) technical discussion, share the standards to suppliers, ensure optimum and flawless executionAnalyse the supplier technical concepts, share alternate cost effective proposals. Collect the current installed equipment, facility specification details and update any change. Maintain master listMaintain the PLC, HMI, Robot backups with revisions

Qualifications

Bachelors Degree in EE, EC with 3 - 5 Years experience in auto OEM / Ancillary / Line builder / Service provider with required skills

Essential skills

Key SkillsHands-on experience in Mitsubishi Q Series, R Series & FXU Series PLC & HMI programming.Hands-on experience in GX Works platform is mandatory. Experience in field communication Ethernet IE, CC Link desirable. Hands-on experience in Mitsubishi, DANFOSS,SEW VFD drives - Parameterization, Communicating with PLC, Trouble shooting. New programs creation in PLC, new Screens creation in HMI, link the Tags, I/Os, interlock with VFD (Mitsubishi, SEW)Experience in KUKA robot program, troubleshooting, installation and commissioning is added advantageExperience in Robot Roller hemming cells, sealer application robots, Material handling equipment - Programs & trouble shooting - is added advantageExperience in handling Conveyor logics, interlocks and other equipment PLC logics in Mitsubishi PLCsExperience in EMS systems, Material transfer systems of Body, paint & GA shopKnowledge in Andon systems, Pick to light, error proofing, Bar code integrationKnowledge in EOL Equipments, Filling machines. Knowledge in handling verify the E plan drawings, control panel circuits, power wirings. Software skillsMitsubishi GX Works, HMI softwareMS Office
