Job Description

We are looking for a PLC & Commissioning Engineer to join our growing team and play a key role in delivering automation solutions for some of the world's leading logistics organizations.

Our Parcel & Logistics business specializes in advanced automation and software solutions for parcel and mail processing hubs worldwide. From high-performance sorting systems to intelligent control software and end-to-end project delivery, we enable global postal and parcel operators to improve efficiency, throughput, and operational excellence.

Your role:

• Develop and implement PLC software, including fieldbus systems and integration with higher-level control systems.
• Commission, test, troubleshoot, and optimize automation and control systems.
• Support system installation, startup, and customer acceptance activities.
• Deliver customer training and technical support during project execution.

Your profile:

• At least 2 years of experience in PLC programming and commissioning.
• Degree in Automation Engineering, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent technical qualification.
• Experience with Siemens automation platforms (S7 Classic, TIA Portal, S7 Safety, WinCC Flexible).
• Knowledge of drive technology, industrial communication networks, and fieldbus systems.
• Willingness to travel internationally - this is required for approximately 5-6 months per year, with assignments typically lasting up to 3 weeks.
• Experience in intralogistics, warehouse automation, or material handling systems is a plus.
• Good written and spoken English.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
