As an intern in our Play Discovery department,you’lljoin teams dedicated to letting loose their creative curiosity and exploring new play experiences.You’llunleash your imagination across a range ofinnovationmissions, collaborating cross-functionally to develop concepts into playable prototypes.

About the Internship:

We look for interns who bring something genuinely different to our innovation hub, adding fresh cultural insight, creative energy, and new ways of thinking. Your time with us will span personal curiosity projects, team capability-building initiatives, and innovation Missions. Every day isdifferentandyou’lllearn directly from a world‑class multidisciplinary team as you build your craft, embracing ambiguity as you discover new play experiences.

Meet the Play Invention Physical team:

The Play Invention Physical teamworkacross many media with materials like plastic, paper, card,woodand textiles to cut, glue and stitch together physical prototypes tovisualiseand test play. They start with a blank canvas and use physical models, paper sketches,CADand 3D printing to design new elements that can unlock the next great physical play experience.

Internship Eligibility:

To qualify for this internship opportunity, you mustmeetthefollowing criteria:

(1) Youarea studentcurrentlystudying in Singapore or you have recently graduatedfrom your course of studyin Singapore.

(2)If you are have beenstudying overseas,you willrequirethe relevant work passes for interningin Singapore

(3) You are available to undertake this internship contractfor a period of either 3 or 6 monthsstarting fromJuneorJuly 2026

We also encourage interns to have experience with at least some of the following:

  • Sketching, Storyboarding

  • Concept Design

  • Physical Prototyping

  • Sculpture

  • Graphic Design

  • LEGO®Model Building

  • 3D CAD programs: Rhino, Blender,Solidworks, Mayaetc

  • Videography / Editing

  • Textiles

  • Electronics

  • Coding

  • Brainstorm a range of possible physical prototypeswith a small teamto explorehow tointegratenew materials or functions into physical play

  • Useyour making skillsto problemsolve a particular physical challenge

  • Design and make physical elements that canfulfil a particular purpose or function within a prototype
