The Play Area Assistant will be responsible for supervising children within the play area, ensuring their safety and maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming environment. The role requires a friendly, responsible, and attentive individual who can interact well with children and provide excellent customer service to parents and guardians.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise children and ensure their safety while using the play area.
• Monitor play equipment and report any safety hazards or maintenance issues.
• Assist children with activities and encourage safe and positive play.
• Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of the play area at all times. Ensure play area rules and safety guidelines are followed.
• Interact courteously and professionally with children, parents, and guardians.
• Assist with organizing simple games and activities when required.
• Respond appropriately to minor incidents and inform supervisors when necessary.
• Support the team with general play area operations and other assigned duties.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Previous experience in childcare, customer service, hospitality, or a similar role would be an advantage.
• A genuine interest in working with children.
• Friendly, patient, responsible, and approachable personality.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to remain attentive and alert while supervising children.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Good personal hygiene and a neat, presentable appearance.
• Basic understanding of health and safety practices.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
