SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Consultant with strong functional expertise and hands-on implementation experience. The role involves working closely with clients to design, configure, and deploy Employee Central solutions aligned with business requirements and SAP best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead/work on end-to-end implementations of SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central
• Conduct requirement gathering workshops and translate business needs into system design
• Configure and support:
  • Data Models (Corporate, Succession, Country-specific)
  • Foundation Objects & Generic Objects
  • Business Rules, Workflows, and RBP
• Execute data migration activities (templates, validation, load cycles)
• Support testing cycles (SIT/UAT) and user training
• Ensure quality deliverables within timelines
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Time, Payroll, Integration)
• Support go-live and hypercare activities
• Handle change requests, enhancements, and support issues
• Guide clients on SAP best practices and standardization

Core Skills & Experience

• 6–10 years of experience in SAP SuccessFactors, with focus on Employee Central
• Minimum 3–5 end-to-end implementations
• Strong hands-on expertise in:
  • RBP (Role-Based Permissions)
  • Business Rules & Workflows
  • Employee Data Management
  • Picklists, MDF Objects, Custom Portlets
  • Global Assignments & Position Management
• Experience in data migration and data handling
• Good understanding of HR processes (Hire to Retire)
• Familiarity with SAP Activate methodology

Modern / Latest Skill Expectations (Consultant Level)

(Practical awareness, not deep technical ownership)

• Awareness of AI capabilities within SAP SuccessFactors, such as:
  • Intelligent recommendations
  • Automated HR workflows
• Basic exposure to SAP Business AI and how AI is embedded in HR processes
• Understanding of data-driven HR (People Analytics / Story Reports)
• Familiarity with automation opportunities in HR processes (rule-based + AI-assisted)
• Awareness of AI ethics, data privacy, and compliance in HR systems

Integration & Technical Awareness

• Basic understanding of:
  • OData APIs / Web Services
  • Integration via SAP Integration Suite (CPI)
• Exposure to integration with modules like EC Payroll / Time / Recruiting
• Awareness of hybrid landscape with SAP S/4HANA (nice to have)

Certifications

• SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Certification (Mandatory)
• Additional module certifications (Time Off, Recruiting, etc.) – Preferred

Soft Skills

• Strong communication and client interaction skills
• Analytical thinking and problem-solving ability
• Ability to work in multiple projects / fast-paced environments
• Team player with ownership mindset

Education

• Bachelor’s / Master’s degree

Position SF Employee Central Payroll Lead (SF ECP - S/4 HANA)

Relevant Experience: 10- 15 years

Location: Hyderabad / Bangalore/ Chennai / Mumbai / New Delhi

Notice Period: Immediate to 30 days

Work Experience:

• Certified in SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll (ECP)
• Multiple end to end implementation experience in EC Payroll
• Exposure in SAP/SF Payroll (Hybrid Solution)
• Should have strong exposure to PCR/Schemas.
• Good Knowledge in HR Business Processes and Talent Management Processes
• Experience translating client business rules to technical business requirements
• Experience in SuccessFactors Integration with other SF Modules, SAP for Payroll and Benefits
• Experience with Biometric integration with SuccessFactors
• Experience in Time Management Calculations
• Ability to work in multiple projects same time
• Experience with data migration and data management activities
• Able to work independently and with others; self-directed; take initiative to solve problems and overcome roadblocks. Results-oriented
• Experience defining, implementing, and supporting business processes
• Experience with system design, configuration, customization, integration, testing and Support.
• Experience with gap analysis and strategic roadmap/blueprint development

Soft Skills

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Must be able to communicate clearly and concisely
• Strong executive presence and ability to interact with Customer Top Management
• Successful teamwork experience and demonstrated leadership abilities are required
