Job Description

Howmet Fastening Systems is looking for a Plating Technician. In Plating you will load the machine using a forklift, determining cycle required to run product and set up process. After processing, use overhead crane to remove baskets from spinners and dump into shipping crates. Perform tests using certified company test equipment. Organize and record production paperwork, to follow orders as product is completed. Handling customer product in an approved method, ensuring smooth flow to the next operation. Strive to work well with co-workers as a team player, keep work area clean, and perform any other tasks as assigned.

Physical requirements for daily activities (these are estimated, there is not a set routine):

• Lift 25 to 50 pounds.
• Be able to bend, stoop and climb
• Be able to walk and stand on your feet for a full 12-hour shift
• Use hand tools, measuring devices, overhead cranes, and forklifts.

Basic Qualifications: 

• High School or equivalent (Preferred)
• Manufacturing: 1 year (Required)

Additional Requirements:

• Must be able to work on site in Elroy, WI
• 40 hour work week…..Mon-Wed 6AM-6PM and Thursday 6AM-11:30AM Overtime as required, based upon customer expectations
