
The world’s most popular audio streaming subscription service is looking for a Platform/Operations Coordinator to join the band in a consultant assignment. The client has transformed music listening forever when launched in 2008.
Period: Asap to 2026-12-31 (full-time), with a possibility of extension.
Before S4D was handed over from Modulator to Wires, a team of three was responsible for reviewing Extended Mode applications against our T&Cs. Today, there are no dedicated resources for this in Wires - ownership has largely fallen to the PM and EM, and only when capacity allows. While we’ve made progress in automating parts of the process using AI, manual reviews are still required for more complex cases, and we have a legal requirement to keep a human in the loop.
At the same time, our strategy for S4D has fundamentally shifted. We have moved from a path of potential shutdown or heavy divestment to actively reopening and expanding the platform. The goal is now to make S4D accessible and valuable to a broader set of developers, including both individual developers and long-term partners. The rise of agentic coding further strengthens this position, making S4D a strategic asset. To capitalize on this opportunity, we need to invest accordingly and ensure the product is compelling, competitive, and scalable.
These roles are critical to delivering a high-quality product for individual developers and long-tail partners. They address key gaps in ownership and execution that cannot be fully covered by AI automation.
This is a cross-organizational coordination role that will manage the operational aspects of keeping S4D up and running and in a good state. This person will be responsible for the manual review process, run the exemption process, coordinate mission ownership mapping, and escalate enforcement decisions.
Responsibilities:
End-to-end ownership of the manual review process – covering the complex cases which the AI automation can’t take a decision on.
Ensure consistent and efficient handling of exemptions
Coordinate mission ownership across teams to avoid gaps and ambiguity
Manage the appeals process
Ensure we have a human in the loop for blocking/rejection decisions (legal requirement).
